Digital Image Correlation at the Joint Rail Conference

In advance of the 2024 Joint Rail Conference being hosted at the University of South Carolina in a few weeks, Correlated Solutions visited Dr. Rizos and his team at the College of Engineering & Computing this week for a practice setup of the Real-Time VIC-3D digital image correlation system that will be on display during the show.

The JRC Conference is sponsored cooperatively by eight technical societies. It attracts engineers and technical personnel from multiple disciplines, representing operators, equipment builders, component suppliers, designers, consultants, academia, regulatory agencies and research organizations. Included in the program will be prominent keynote speakers from the rail industry.

The 2024 JRC offers the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in rail transportation as well as time for networking with other professionals in the industry.
